About the Role

DXC is seeking a Business Analyst to support business leaders and sales teams by analyzing deal progress, creating reports, and aiding in decision-making. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow in a dynamic, startup-like environment within a large corporation. You will gain extensive knowledge through guidance from seniors and collaboration with sales representatives, making it suitable for those new to the IT industry. We prioritize candidates with experience or aptitude in data analysis and numerical management.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for sales representatives.
Gather information from sales, track deal progress, and report on risks, opportunities, and probabilities.
Represent deal status in SFDC and manage basic analytical data.
Cleanse and analyze large datasets.
Collaborate with finance to improve monthly forecast accuracy.
Track contract amounts managed quarterly to ensure successful deal closures.
Present data-driven analysis to department heads to inform decision-making.
Develop next year's budget and create customer strategy plans with sales.
Understand Sales Booking Policy and advise business units and sales on contract execution.
Participate in discussions and initiatives within the Business Analyst team to drive business growth.
Create various reports, extracting insights and providing recommendations beyond simple data compilation.
Manage customer visit schedules.
Support changes in various processes.

Requirements

High level of communication skills in Japanese (required).
Ability to communicate effectively with department heads and management.
Experience with data analysis using Excel (Sumif, VLOOKUP, Pivot, etc.) (required).
Experience handling, processing, and analyzing datasets of tens of thousands of records or more.
Ability to solve business challenges using large datasets.
High ethical standards.
