About the Role

BonFry is a service provider for gastronomy, hotels, and food production, focusing on the sustainable use of used cooking oil as a resource for fuel production. Our vision is to create a closed-loop system that transforms restaurant waste into valuable raw materials for the future fuel industry. We enable hundreds of restaurants, wholesalers, and producers to contribute to a sustainable environment by producing sustainable fuels from residual materials with our partners. Our platform connects companies with sustainable solutions, and you can help us take our growth to the next level!

Responsibilities

  • Take over new partners after contract signing, ensuring a structured transition from new customer to active BonFry partner.
  • Ensure successful activation by making processes and services understandable and guiding initial orders towards stable collaboration.
  • Develop partners by monitoring order development, identifying potential, and sustainably increasing volume.
  • Identify upselling potential by understanding partners' businesses, analyzing their order behavior, and proactively discussing opportunities for increased collaboration.
  • Proactively identify risks, such as missed orders or below-potential volume, and work with partners to develop solutions.
  • Build long-term customer relationships, serving as a reliable point of contact, especially during the initial phase.
  • Work data-driven and structured, monitoring activation, order volume, revenue development, and open potentials in the CRM, and documenting activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations, ensuring handover from new customer acquisition and providing feedback on recurring issues.
  • Contribute to shaping our after-sales process by developing partner journeys, follow-ups, and playbooks together with the Sales team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in studies with at least two more semesters remaining; field of study is not specified.
  • Communicative and sales-oriented, enjoying customer interaction and capable of identifying and conveying potential.
  • Comfortable with phone-based communication, as a significant portion of the work involves phone calls.
  • Negotiation-level German language proficiency (C1-C2) for communication with partners in the gastronomy and hotel industry.
  • Previous customer contact experience (e.g., B2B sales, inside sales, account management, service, or gastronomy), including internships or working student positions.
  • A knack for upselling, understanding the connection between good customer service and commercial development without losing sight of the relationship.
  • Proactive work approach, independently identifying areas needing action or potential.
  • Basic understanding of the gastronomy and hotel industry is advantageous.
  • Structured and digital work style, comfortable with CRM systems and customer, revenue, and order data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and sense of responsibility, taking ownership of partners from handover through to stable collaboration.
