About the Role

Freedom is expanding its Transmission Maintenance capability and is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing team. This role is key in delivering maintenance, refurbishment, and asset replacement projects across the UK's transmission network, offering an excellent opportunity for an established Project Manager to step into a senior leadership position within a respected business.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe, profitable, and successful delivery of transmission maintenance and capital works projects from tender enquiry through to final completion.
Lead project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance.
Lead the delivery of transmission maintenance and construction projects.
Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
Lead project reviews and performance reporting.
Manage NEC and other forms of contract.
Control project risks, opportunities, and change management processes.
Support tendering and work-winning activities.
Develop project teams and provide leadership across multiple contracts.

Requirements

Robust project controls, delivery leadership, and commercial management expertise.
Experience in construction, utilities, power, infrastructure, or major projects.
Transmission maintenance experience is highly desirable.
