About the Role
Support large scale health projects, working with Senior Project Managers/Directors to deliver facility planning, design, procurement, and construction phases. Act as the key client interface, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and drive projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage projects and programs as the key client interface
- Manage complex and diverse stakeholder relationships
- Develop working relationships, problem solve, and drive projects to successful completion
- Manage multiple project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track
- Manage the project delivery process across multiple projects and programs to achieve client requirements and manage expectations
- Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, and potential construction problems
- Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting
- Chair project meetings with clients and consultants
- Analyze and define future program and portfolio strategies
- Engage with marketing and business development initiatives
- Drive business outcomes alongside project outcomes
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience (consultancy or client side preferred)
- Experience in the health sector is advantageous, with experience in brownfield, live construction, and/or mental health facilities being a plus
- Existing Australian work rights is ideal
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly a command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
