About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Residential Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services within residential apartment buildings, focusing on communal areas, individual apartments, and end-of-tenancy properties. The ideal candidate understands the standards expected in a resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas throughout residential buildings.
• Clean entrance areas, reception areas, corridors, staircases, and lifts.
• Clean communal facilities and amenity spaces.
• Carry out scheduled apartment cleaning.
• Complete detailed end-of-tenancy cleans.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
• Clean internal glass, mirrors, and other fixtures.
• Empty bins and maintain waste areas as required.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and products are used and stored safely.
• Maintain consistently high standards of presentation throughout the building.
• Work respectfully and professionally around residents, visitors, and other members of the building team.

Requirements

• Previous professional cleaning experience within a residential building, apartment development, or similar residential environment.
• Experience cleaning communal areas.
• Good understanding of professional cleaning standards.
• Confident carrying out detailed apartment and end-of-tenancy cleans.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload effectively.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider building team.
• Professional and courteous approach when interacting with residents.
• Understand the importance of health and safety when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a residential apartment building is essential.
• Experience within build to rent, private residential developments, serviced apartments, student accommodation, or similar environments is particularly beneficial.
