About the Role

This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Centre, focusing on accurate inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, and maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Verify deliveries and assist couriers in receiving parcels
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Manually unload / load containers
• Sort and palletize products
• Manually wrap built skids
• Move and store products and materials in assigned places
• Dispose of leftover packing waste
• Apply shipping labels, as directed
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Follow health and safety program
• Ensure accuracy in all inventory, shipping and receiving and store procedures
• Pick products based on orders, using item numbers, bin locations, and quantities
• Assemble, label, and pack orders for shipping or customer pickup
• Complete order and shipping documentation accurately
• Follow basic shipping procedures, ensuring accuracy throughout the steps
• Assist in the execution and maintenance of housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Ability to use a pump truck
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to use a ladder up to 10 feet
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours
• Flexibility in scheduling including extended days, evenings, and weekends
• Willingness to work additional shifts during peak holiday season
• Computer skills; ability to learn technological systems with ease
