About the Role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines, ensuring quality and freshness to promote sales. Provides excellent customer service and adheres to sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation.
• Cut and prepare meat using knives, saws, cubers, and grinders.
• Ensure proper wrapping, weighing, and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Adhere to corporate meat department procedures and standards.
• Adhere to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines.
• Receive meat products delivered to the store.
• Control shrink through adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Salary/Compensations

• $21.50 - $26.50
