About the Role

Horizon Land Management is seeking a Community Hero, also known as a Maintenance Technician, to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the grounds and structures within our mobile home communities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, including trimming, mowing, and trash pickup.
• Perform landscaping tasks.
• Handle plowing and salting during winter months.
• Repair water and sewer lines as needed.
• Repair and maintain onsite structures, grounds, and equipment.
• Assist in securing and padlocking homes during evictions.
• Troubleshoot problem areas.
• Respond immediately to emergency calls.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to think outside the box and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate large machinery when necessary.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs or more.
• Ability to alternate frequently between walking, crawling, crouching, squatting, climbing, and sitting.
• Must be organized, reliable, and possess a valid driver's license.
