Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing operational risks.
- Engage actively in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all project phases.
- Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements.
- Solve complex problems using proven methods and evaluative criteria.
- Influence policy and procedural changes with potential broad business impact.
- Provide direction and feedback to teams, contributing to performance evaluations and the hiring process.
- Partner with customer technical leads, client executives, sales teams, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud solution implementations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to decision-makers while overseeing project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines.
- Own end-to-end architecture: from business requirements and conceptual design through delivery, production, and evolution.
- Lead and influence engineering teams without direct authority; providing technical guidance and setting architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails.
- Strive to be at the forefront of new modern technologies and bring them within the larger team.
- Ensure the successful engineering delivery of assigned projects with hands-on involvement as needed.
- Work with the engineering team to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership and published assets.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, highly distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including responsibility for architectural decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes.
- Strong background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript), and the ability to review, guide, and influence implementation quality.
- Deep expertise in software architecture and design principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, serverless, APIs, data architecture, scalability, resiliency, multi-cloud, and security-by-design.
- Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM-based business solutions in production environments.
- Experience using AI-native tools to accelerate software engineering outcomes.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken form with clients about business needs and translate that into a technical solution.
- High quality organizational and leadership skills.

- US base salary range: $151,500 to $346,000
- New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) base salary range: $181,800 to $393,200
