About the Role
United Ag & Turf NE is seeking a Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing engine components on small engines, agricultural equipment, and other related machinery. The role requires safe, professional, and timely completion of work, with opportunities for career growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed at high levels of quality and safety.
- Engage in daily customer contact, diagnosing, troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, and making repairs.
Requirements
- Must own and maintain their own tools (specialty tools provided by dealership).
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions.
- Willingness to work a varying work schedule/shift and respond to after-hour calls.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

Experience Level
- 2-3 years of experience as a mechanic working on small engines, diesel and gas engines, and small handheld components (Preferred)
- Experience with John Deere Equipment (Preferred)
