About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Night Veterinary Nurses to join our team at London Victoria Animal Hospital. This role offers a unique 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota, providing flexibility and a great work-life balance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our hospital provides a 24/7 service, catering to the needs of our furry friends around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the hospital provides a 24/7 service.
- Delivering excellent veterinary care for a wide range of small animals.
- Providing routine healthcare and attending emergencies.
- Collaborating with a dedicated overnight team of three nurses and one on-site veterinary surgeon.
- Delivering exceptional patient care throughout the night.
- Performing emergency triage over the phone and face to face.
- Providing inpatient care to a high nursing standard.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Veterinary Nurse registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Adaptable and able to handle unpredictable situations.
- Reliable and able to deliver consistently high-quality care.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about animal welfare.
- Experience of emergency service and critical care and emergency surgical nursing including face to face triage.
- Experience in all aspects of nursing duties.
- Experience of working nights in a veterinary practice.

- £29,523 / year
- £26,496 plus £3,027 London Weighting Allowance per annum
