About the Role

This entry-level role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain processes by relentlessly tracking and managing vendor performance, purchase orders, and invoice schedules. You will be responsible for negotiating pricing, owning all related paperwork, and closing open loops to prevent delays, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of building infrastructure for the autonomous era.

Responsibilities

  • Buy well by running quotes against each other and negotiating preferred-pricing agreements.
  • Own the paperwork end to end, including purchase orders, invoice scheduling, pre-delivery coordination, and resale/exemption certificates.
  • Close every open loop by tracking vendor commitments such as ship dates, drawings, and confirmations.
  • Proactively manage vendor timelines to pull lead times forward.
  • Maintain hundreds of open items in a system, ensuring detail and organization.
  • Conduct frequent calls with vendors, reps, and shipping desks.
  • Work directly with engineers to understand bills of materials.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience; new grads encouraged.
  • Evidence of managing responsibilities that others depend on (e.g., shop job, lab ordering, club budget, family business).
  • Spreadsheet fluency and the ability to develop systems from spreadsheets.
  • Relentless attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple items simultaneously.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
