About the Role

AVEVA is seeking a driven Channel Account Manager to achieve double-digit revenue growth for AVEVA Software and deliver an exceptional channel experience. This role involves meeting individual sales targets and requires a hands-on approach to driving sales through channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business plans for assigned partners and execute them.
  • Recruit partners with specific expertise and market coverage aligned with the go-to-market strategy.
  • Visit customer sites to drive and support opportunity closing.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with assigned partners and analyze their performance.
  • Qualify partner opportunities based on sales methodology, ensure accurate forecasts, follow up on leads, execute promotions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve partner escalations and issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partner contacts and executives to remove obstacles and grow business.
  • Maintain partner competence through enablement, training, and certifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of direct enterprise-level software sales and/or partner management experience with a track record of sustained success.
  • Experience as both a Channel Account Manager and a Direct Sales Account Manager.
  • Understanding of the OEM industry.
  • Knowledge and experience of OEM applications and AVEVA product lines (PI systems, MES, HMI/SCADA, etc.), and other operation applications.
  • Complex solution sales experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC-based sales methodology is a plus.
  • Native level of Japanese language proficiency.
  • Good English communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong social and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop a network for cross-functional working.
  • Must undergo and pass a drug screening and comprehensive background check.
