Responsibilities
- Begin employment in an extensive hands-on Manager Training Program.
- Develop leadership skills and prepare for a management-level position in the Oil Change department.
- Perform minor light duty automotive repairs including brakes, tires, suspension components, and sensors.
- Perform oil change services and 20-point maintenance checks.
- Greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
- Educate customers on products and services.
- Maintain cleanliness of the premises, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, snow removal, and landscaping.
- Uphold customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards for quality.
- Master basic employee responsibilities within the assigned department.
- Work hands-on alongside employees.
- Train, coach, and evaluate employees' performance.
- Ensure employees adhere to all safety regulations.
- Prepare and review reports, including department staffing schedules and financials.
- Address all customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
- Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs to mechanical systems and/or equipment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- NYS Inspector License preferred.
- Good mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
- A detail-oriented mindset.
- Must be a team player.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Six months to one year of leadership, management, or key holder experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate consistent work experience.
- A courteous and professional demeanor.
- Patience, motivation, and initiative to lead others.
- Flexibility to work at any of the local locations.
- Schedule flexibility to include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Year-round schedule availability is required.
