About the Role
The Mechanical Engineering Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the Innovation Project Engineering Team with project support while gaining valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. This paid internship program offers in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, professional development, job shadowing, and other growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist Innovation project teams with next generation fabric tensioning solutions (FTS).
- Perform engineering calculations.
- Create product test plans to meet Spec/Scop.
- Author test procedures.
- Build and assemble prototypes.
- Perform functionality tests on products.
Requirements
- Previous internship experience in a relevant function is preferred.
- Pursuing a 4-year degree, preferably at the Sophomore/Junior level.
- Mechanical Engineering Major is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and attention to detail).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
