About the Role

Advising Family Office clients through complex tax and wealth decisions requires both technical depth and genuine trust. As a Manager in PwC Private – Family Office, you'll play a vital role in advising high-net-worth individuals and family groups on complex tax and wealth matters, working with clients across privately owned businesses, family offices, and entrepreneurial ventures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals and family groups.
  • Oversee complex compliance work across individual, trust, and entity returns—ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Serve as a trusted adviser, building long-term client relationships across tax, structuring, and wealth matters.
  • Guide clients through estate planning, succession, and long-term wealth preservation strategies.
  • Proactively identify and manage tax risks, keeping pace with evolving legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering capability growth and a strong team culture.
  • Monitor legislative and industry developments to deliver practical, forward-looking advice.
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives that drive high-quality client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience advising private clients or family offices on complex tax matters for high-net-worth individuals.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance frameworks.
  • A demonstrated ability to build and sustain trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Experience reviewing technical work and coaching junior professionals to develop their skills.
  • A commercial mindset paired with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear, concise, and client-ready.
