About the Role

Responsibilities

Operate industrial and/or heavy-duty cleaning machines and equipment, including auto scrubbers, sweeping machines, leaf blowers, and pressure washers.
Lift and transport heavy items or objects.
Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch and high-traffic areas to maintain a safe environment.
Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, and elevators.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins regularly.
Spot clean interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, and windowsills.
Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces.
Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed.
Perform snow removal and salting of public walkways.

Requirements

Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, sweepers, or pressure washers is required.
Ability to lift and transport heavy items or objects up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
Experience performing professional janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces is required.
Eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s).
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time an offer of employment is made.
May be asked to consent to a background check and security clearance.
For positions with access to financial data or funds, credit must be in good standing.
