Responsibilities
- Operate industrial and/or heavy-duty cleaning machines and equipment, including auto scrubbers, sweeping machines, leaf blowers, and pressure washers.
- Lift and transport heavy items or objects.
- Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch and high-traffic areas to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
- Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, and elevators.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins regularly.
- Spot clean interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, and windowsills.
- Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces.
- Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed.
- Perform snow removal and salting of public walkways.
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, sweepers, or pressure washers is required.
- Ability to lift and transport heavy items or objects up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Experience performing professional janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces is required.
- Eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time an offer of employment is made.
- May be asked to consent to a background check and security clearance.
- For positions with access to financial data or funds, credit must be in good standing.
