About the Role

Shiftwise is seeking an AI Product Manager to lead the strategy, definition, and execution of AI-powered features that transform how healthcare organizations manage their contingent workforce. This role is for individuals who use AI in their product craft and can shape its integration into a large-scale SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

Own the AI product strategy, identifying opportunities where AI/ML can create customer value.
Shape AI features end-to-end, translating concepts into user experiences and partnering with design and engineering.
Actively use AI tools in daily workflows for research, writing, and decision support.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, customer success, and clinical experts.
Conduct discovery with healthcare administrators, staffing agencies, and clinicians to uncover problems AI can solve.
Define success metrics, run experiments, and measure the adoption and impact of AI features.
Educate internal teams and customers on how AI is shaping the product roadmap and vision.
Evaluate market trends and competitors to identify product improvement or development opportunities.
Deliver the operating plan and achieve growth objectives, including market share, revenue, profit, and ROI.
Develop product briefs and define achievable acceptance criteria.
Stay updated on work progress and resolve issues during sprints.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and practices.

Requirements

4–7+ years in product management (SaaS or enterprise preferred).
At least 1 year building or managing AI-powered features.
Hands-on experience using AI/ML in daily product workflows (prompt engineering, prototyping with LLMs, data analysis, etc.).
Customer-first mindset with proven ability to gather insights, run discovery, and translate needs into solutions.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Expected to come into an AMN Healthcare office at a frequency dependent on the work arrangement for the role.
