About the Role
As a passionate Primary Engineering professional for High-Voltage Switchgear, you will contribute to the energy transition and security of supply. You will work in international teams on the entire spectrum of substation technology in the fields of on- & offshore, AIS- & GIS systems, and renewable energies for grid operators, energy suppliers, and industrial customers.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop solutions for high-voltage projects (110 kV – 380 kV).
- Coordinate constructive interfaces and create documentation using AutoCAD, Primtech, and/or REVIT (2D/3D).
- Project basic layouts, plant layouts, sections, site plans, and construction details, including mechanical calculations and modification concepts.
- Obtain necessary technical plant data and configurations, clarifying interfaces through coordination meetings with project staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Communicate deviations in quality, goals, costs, and deadlines within the project team and with management.
- Participate in project teams with responsibility for sub-projects.
Requirements
- Completed degree (Dipl.-Ing. or Master) in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Energy Technology.
- Several years of professional experience in primary engineering planning, project management, and implementation of high and extra-high voltage projects (110 kV – 380 kV).
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills.
- Good German and English language skills (minimum B2 level) in speaking and writing.
