About the Role
The Senior Manager, IT - Global Procure to Pay will provide subject matter expertise in PTP and Accounts Payable. This role requires a skilled relationship builder adept at navigating fast-paced, evolving environments, guiding the organization in leveraging new systems, and understanding the impact of technology developments. The individual will partner with Procure-to-Pay and Finance stakeholders to build process and technology capabilities supporting strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as an SAP solution architect & SME with accountability for the design and implementation of PTP capabilities in Accounts Payable Management and related supporting functions.
- Own the global PTP and Accounts Payable template and drive process standardization across the organization.
- Lead internal and external service provider teams through project implementation stages.
- Manage multiple global projects simultaneously.
- Oversee demand management, capital requests, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Manage Business Requirement gathering, functional specification development, and test case management.
- Manage end-to-end PTP applications and integration with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.
- Configure the system for Vendor Payment processing, including global banking integrations for various payment methods.
- Maintain good working relationships with cross-functional teams such as GBS, Change Management, IT Support, Testing, Development, Security, and Basis.
- Manage active relationships with global business teams including Finance, Procurement, and Tax.
- Manage vendor relationships and software license renewals.
- Monitor and understand government invoice compliance mandates and support global system projects and integrations.
- Support procure-to-pay workstream, ARIBA functionalities, Master Data Maintenance, and Reporting capabilities.
- Support US tax, VAT, and Withholding tax functionalities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Information Systems and SAP functional and configuration experience.
- 2-4 years of People Management experience.
- Strong relationship management skills (internal and external).
- Knowledge of Procurement Processes, Accounts Payable Process, Vendor Payment process(s), and associated systems and technology (SAP).
- Deep understanding of integration between SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Experience with SAAS, PAAS solutions, and On-Prem Solutions.
- Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM): Direct and Indirect Procurement (Contracts, Purchase Requisitions/Orders, Goods Receipts, Invoice Receipts, Vendor Master, Source Lists, etc.). Stock Transport Orders and Intercompany Goods movement.
- Experience in OCR and Invoice Management solutions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities.
- Good analytical and logical skills to analyze data and design/implement flexible business solutions by solving complex problems.
- Good understanding of cross-functional SAP ECC capabilities.
- Good understanding of ARIBA Functionalities.
- Good understanding of Master Data Maintenance and Reporting capabilities.
- Possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, driven with high business process acumen.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work across different business stakeholders and technical teams to accomplish complex tasks.
