Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, regulators, and industry partners through networking, outreach, and exceptional project delivery.
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary project teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and engagement.
- Manage project performance, including profitability, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events as a visible ambassador of the organization.
- Mentor, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborate with business development and operational leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Support and oversee technical environmental projects including: Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Site investigations involving soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling, Remedial action planning and implementation oversight, Proposal development, cost estimating, and technical reporting.
- Ensure high-quality project execution and client satisfaction across all deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 10+ years of environmental consulting or related experience aligned with the responsibilities of this role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and cultivate client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Comfortable networking, initiating conversations, and building rapport with new and existing clients.
- Passion for helping grow a business through client engagement and strategic development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and programs impacting industrial, commercial, and energy-sector clients located primarily in Texas.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
