About the Role
This role is within the Finance team at City St George’s, University of London, which has been restructured to create a more integrated, agile, and resilient function. The role strengthens the ability to sustainably meet the evolving demands of the University.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of financial performance in partnership with the School in line with the University Financial Plan.
- Influence decision-making, drive change, and foster collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholders and budgets.
- Perform financial planning, forecasting, and year-end delivery.
- Provide training for budget holders.
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis, including staffing, student numbers, Programme profitability, and business cases.
- Ensure robust controls, compliance, value for money, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Degree educated (or equivalent experience).
- Significant accounting expertise.
- Strong financial management skills.
