About the Role
This role focuses on leading and developing teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service within a store area. It involves managing operations, merchandising, and associate development while upholding company values and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams through teaching, training, and feedback.
- Communicate and collaborate with associates on store operations, business initiatives, and company direction.
- Implement business solutions and communicate objectives effectively.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve customer experience.
- Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing financial statements and managing expenses.
- Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
- Hire, train, mentor, and recognize associates.
- Assign duties, set clear expectations, and promote a belonging mindset.
- Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.

Requirements
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
