About the Role
Lead the way in compassionate care and transform lives as our Assistant Director of Nursing. This role coordinates and oversees nursing practices across our OPWDD-certified residential programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop nursing objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Establish and improve the Nursing Quality Assurance Plan.
- Maintain compliance with care standards and regulations.
- Implement ICF and IRA regulations.
- Participate in management meetings and team conferences.
- Provide healthcare consultation and emergency nursing coverage.
- Guide a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Supervisors, and AMAP staff.
- Foster a culture of excellence through mentoring, collaboration, and accountability.
Requirements
- NYS Registered Nurse license
- BSN or Master's degree in Nursing
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- OPWDD experience strongly preferred
