About the Role
As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources.
- Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
- Maintains instock levels and controls shrinkage.
- Plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs.
- Follows recipe measurement instructions working with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
- Ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
- Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Drives the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards.
- Eliminates waste.
- Prepares for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
- Identifies member needs.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves member issues and concerns.
- Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the members experience in Bakery and modeling high quality service and products.
- Interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training, developing, influencing, and inspiring them.

Requirements
- 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

- $20.50 to $28.50 per hour
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
