About the Role
The Manager will manage a variety of audit and other attest assignments, functioning with minimal supervision. This role involves supervising and mentoring staff, strengthening client relationships, and increasing office profitability, with a primary focus on audit clients and audit-specific technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing, and technical issues.
- Oversee engagement completion, identifying and solving problem areas with minimal oversight.
- Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
- Supervise and mentor Supervisors, Senior Accountants, and Staff, guiding them in technical areas and identifying professional development opportunities.
- Complete annual performance evaluations and manage employee performance conversations.
- Assist Principals and Partners with identifying, meeting with, and pursuing new clients.
- Turn acquired technical knowledge into high value-added opportunities for Firm clients.
- Promote the Firm’s image by participating on conference panels, contributing to Firm publications, attending recruiting events, and conducting trainings.
- Develop, strengthen, and grow client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and a service-oriented approach.
- Enhance skills in the Firm's focus industries by completing training courses.
- Increase office profitability by managing time efficiently and contributing ideas.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus).
- 5-8 years of experience in public accounting, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Exhibit expert understanding of accounting and auditing rules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
- Consistently demonstrate strong personal, technical, and professional judgment.
- Perform work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize a fast-paced and varied workload.

- Ability to meet internal Firm deadlines (time entry, billing, etc.).
- Available to work evenings and weekends based on position needs.
- Available to travel domestically if required.

Salary/Compensations
- $110,500 to $136,000 depending on experience. More is possible if experience dictates.
