About the Role
The VP, Consumer Bank Product is responsible for managing Synchrony’s Consumer Bank products across various channels. This role focuses on defining the vision, KPIs, and roadmap for digital deposit products (savings, money markets, CDs) across web and mobile, acting as a liaison between business strategy, customer experience, and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for digital deposit acquisition, onboarding, and servicing experiences.
- Own annual strategy planning and roadmap whitepaper creation with external benchmarking and latest thoughts around business needs.
- Partner with Consumer Bank SI, Pricing, CX, and Marketing teams to drive innovative product management and solutions.
- Monitor and measure product metrics and KPIs to define product success and prioritize future capabilities.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify whitespace opportunities and feature gaps.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and experiences, and proactively communicate and activate on industry trends.
- Coordinate with SI & Marketing to shape the product backlog; prioritize features based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Partner closely with Engineering, UX/Design, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, Fraud, and Operations to deliver high-quality releases.
- Coordinate with Marketing on go-to-market plans, customer communications, and feature adoption campaigns.
- Manage vendor and third-party partner relationships where applicable.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for all products and initiatives.
- Present performance updates and executive-level readouts to senior stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer banking, fintech, or digital financial services.
- Ability to travel – 20%.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process.
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.

- Customer obsession with a strong eye for UX/UI quality.
- Analytical mindset; able to translate data into product decisions.

- 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual
- Eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
