About the Role
The Group Leader will assist the Site Coordinator in implementing, designing, and evaluating after-school program activities, providing social and educational support and supervision to ensure participant safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Coordinator in the implementation, design, and evaluation of all after-school program activities.
- Provide social and educational support and supervision of program participants.
- Ensure the safety and security of program participants.
- Help students prepare for projects geared toward community issues.
- Help students prepare for special presentations related to their clubs.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Some college preferred.
- Relevant work experience with children or adolescents.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Meticulous organizational skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports.
- Possess excellent organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest or education in youth development.
