Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive dental hygiene examinations and assessments
- Periodontal charting
- Taking and reviewing dental X-rays
- Prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
- Scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Fluoride treatments
- Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
- Identifying and communicating oral health concerns to the dentist
- Providing a comfortable, positive experience for every patient
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Requirements
- Current New York State Dental Hygiene License
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
