About the Role
Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring applicants for future Personal Support Worker positions. This role involves providing customized care plans and solutions to clients in their homes and facilities within the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas, enhancing their quality of life, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized care plans and solutions to clients.
- Enhance the quality of life, dignity, and independence of clients.
- Visit clients in their homes and facilities.
- Provide exceptional care to clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Create meaningful moments for clients daily.
- Focus on building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker diploma, International Nursing Degree or equivalent (evidence required).
- Nursing Students are also welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle is required.
- Must drive own vehicle within the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas.
- Provide proof of valid educations, license, and/or certificate.
- Provide 2 supervisory references.
- Provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Provide proof of being negative for TB.
- May be required to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc. (dependent upon Provincial government regulations and position).
