About the Role

The CPA Program is an eight-month internship designed for students seeking a co-op or internship opportunity and who are interested in pursuing a CPA designation. As an Intern, CPA Program, you will join CPP Investments for an 8-month term from January to August 2027, working within one of our Finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Working within one of our Finance teams.
  • Participate in a cross-functional Intern Hackathon, collaborating with peers across departments to solve real business challenges.
  • Engage in organization-wide events and initiatives while building your skillset through hands-on, on-the-job learning aligned with your team’s priorities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate students specializing in accounting or finance who are eligible for an 8-month work term and intend to return to their studies following the internship.
  • Intention to pursue a CPA designation to complement your academic background.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong academic performance, complemented by involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • A commitment to integrity, collaboration, and high performance.
  • You are motivated to contribute to something larger than yourself, approach complex challenges with rigor, and hold yourself to high standards in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

  • Valuations define and oversee the governance, policies, standards, and methodologies related to investment valuation. The team manages the quarterly valuation lifecycle and provides assurance that valuations are robust and reliable, supporting critical Fund decisions such as portfolio rebalancing, risk management, and financial reporting.
