About the Role

Join CPP Investments as a Rotational Analyst in our CPA Program, a full-time opportunity designed for exceptional new graduates pursuing their CPA designation and a career in finance. You will complete two placements across eligible teams within Finance and Legal’s Assurance & Advisory group, gaining depth of experience and mentorship needed to work toward your designation.

Responsibilities

  • Complete two placements across eligible teams within Finance and Legal’s Assurance & Advisory group.
  • Contribute to meaningful assignments from the outset.
  • Develop an understanding of how finance, and assurance and advisory professionals support a leading global investment organization.
  • Strengthen technical capabilities.
  • Broaden business acumen.

  • Gain experience in areas such as financial policy and reporting, valuations, business and financial planning, performance measurement, management analytics, financial controls, and tax governance.
  • Build technical accounting and analytical capabilities.
  • Develop a broader understanding of how Finance supports the management of a global investment portfolio.
  • Provide independent assurance over the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Deliver audit and advisory engagements across areas including Public Markets, Private Markets, and Technology & Operations.
  • Gain enterprise-wide exposure.
  • Contribute to engagements across the organization.
  • Develop practical skills in risk assessment, governance, controls, data analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Candidates in an undergraduate or advanced degree program seeking to obtain their CPA designation and can start work in September 2027 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with a strong track record of academic success while balancing extracurricular activities.
  • Candidates with a strong set of interpersonal, thought leadership, relationship building and communication skills.
  • Candidates that often combine energy, enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity, with a demonstrated interest in accounting, finance and analytics.
  • A completed Graduate Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent CPA modules, is required prior to the start date.
  • Motivated to contribute to something larger than yourself.
  • Approach complex challenges with rigor.
  • Hold yourself to high standards in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
