About the Role
Spring Oak is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to assist residents in living their best day, every day. Join a supportive, family-oriented culture recognized as Great Place to Work Certified.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care and hygiene needs.
- Provide compassionate support, supervision, and companionship.
- Administer routine medications in accordance with applicable state guidelines.
- Assist with developing and updating individualized resident service plans.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Contribute to a positive, uplifting community where residents and staff can thrive.
Requirements
- Current CHHA Certification
- Completion of applicable required training courses
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Compassion, patience, and empathy
- Understanding of and appreciation for the aging process
- A dependable team player who genuinely enjoys helping others
