About the Role

As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Health Care Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Med Tech business in EU and AP. You will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. Additionally, you will help identify opportunities to apply generative AI and AI-enabled tools to improve how MedTech knowledge, analysis, and consulting assets are created and delivered. Working with consultants, knowledge teams, and BCG’s AI and product specialists, you will prototype and scale reusable tools, agents, and workflows that accelerate research, improve consistency, and enhance the quality of client delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver against client and commercial priorities for the Med Tech business in EU and AP.
Provide industry/functional expertise and insights to case and proposal teams.
Offer knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory.
Serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders.
Help structure and solve complex issues.
Identify opportunities to apply generative AI and AI-enabled tools to improve knowledge, analysis, and consulting asset creation and delivery.
Prototype and scale reusable tools, agents, and workflows that accelerate research, improve consistency, and enhance client delivery quality.
Translate insights into strategic recommendations for commercial execution and business growth.
Synthesize insights from multiple data sets to develop business recommendations.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of the Med Tech landscape, including market dynamics and evolving trends.
Strong understanding of at least one of these high-priority Med Tech segments: Cardiovascular, Dental, Diagnostic Imaging, Endoscopy, Ophthalmics, Orthopedics, Surgery.
Strategic and analytical acumen related to Med Tech; ability to identify market opportunities and growth drivers.
Experience in strategies to address market challenges and understanding of innovation in Med Tech.
Ability to prototype, test, and help deploy AI-enabled tools, agents, and reusable assets.
Ability to work with end users and internal BCG teams to refine successful solutions and scale them responsibly.
Familiarity with key data sources for secondary research.
2+ years of consulting experience in the relevant MedTech sector required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred.
In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
Fluency in English; other European languages spoken is a bonus.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
