About the Role
Odin is building the investment infrastructure for the future of private markets. Our mission is to make it radically easier to raise and deploy capital, so that anyone, anywhere, can back the companies and ideas they believe in. Our first product is a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms, handling all infrastructure from legal structuring to reporting and exits. We are post-PMF and revenue generating, launching in the US ahead of a Series A. This role offers the opportunity to shape engineering practices and own significant parts of the product in a regulated, fast-paced environment. Senior engineers are expected to set the standard through quality of work, code reviews, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Own significant parts of the product and ship customer-facing features.
- Set the standard for engineering through quality of shipped work, code reviews, and problem-solving.
- Rethink how to build with AI, redesigning workflows around AI tools for a step change in efficiency.
- Build and run non-trivial production systems.
- Own architectural decisions for systems, including structure, patterns, and the validity of proposed solutions.
- Apply AI to engineering workflows to improve speed and efficiency.
- Provide and receive direct feedback on work quality and processes.
- Determine when to build solutions properly and when not to, focusing on work that accelerates the team.
- Understand how capital moves and the regulatory landscape across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Experience building and running non-trivial production systems.
- Strong architectural judgment.
- Ability to own decisions around LLM-generated code, system structure, and patterns.
- Experience with AI in engineering workflows, demonstrating specific improvements and shared practices.
- Directness in giving and receiving feedback.
- Good instincts about prioritizing work and knowing when to build solutions properly.
- Ability to learn quickly (Go experience not required if you learn fast).
- Interest in finance, compliance, and multiple jurisdictions.
