About the Role
As a Host/Reservationist at Niku Steakhouse, your position is vital to our Michelin’s standard of success. You embody the guest’s initial experience, emotion and expectation of our restaurant the moment they walk through our doors. You have the unique opportunity to make each guest’s experience memorable and exquisite. This position requires excellent attention to detail, follow through and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Organizing the pace of the dining room, ensuring an even and measured flow for the nightly dinner service
- Updating and printing menus, reflecting daily and seasonal changes to our wine, cocktail and food programs
- Greet arriving guests, escorting them to their designated table and ensuring that they will be comfortable for their stay
- Updating and adding to diligent guest logs, enforcing the highest and most detail oriented guest experience
- Working closely with the General Manager to prepare for the evening’s guest list
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Significant work experience in the hospitality industry with a preference in Hosting or Managing
- ServSafe certified
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of organizational skills
- Administrative skills preferred including knowledge of G Suite and Open Table
