About the Role
Sleeper is building the leading platform to connect friends over sports, offering features like scores, games, chat, and memes. We aim to be the ultimate digital playground for sports fans, with over 10 million users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces across iOS, Android, and Web, owning layout, typography, spacing, color systems, and visual hierarchy.
- Create interface graphics, icons, illustrations, and digital visual assets.
- Produce promotional graphics, marketing banners, advertisements, social media assets, and branded creative materials.
- Maintain and expand the design system and UI component library, prepping production-ready assets for engineering.
- Participate in design critiques and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on visual design initiatives.
- Develop visual concepts that improve usability while keeping the brand consistent.
- Show up for design critiques with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of full-time Design experience.
- A strong portfolio, deck, or sample work showcasing passion and foundations in design.
- Ability to own design process end-to-end from concept to implementation.
- Ability to collaborate and partner strategically with Product, Engineering, and other partners to drive and influence visual direction.
- Strong attention to detail with an understanding of UI, interaction, and visual design fundamentals.
- Expertise with or strong knowledge of design systems and related processes.
