About the Role

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other café offerings.
• Ensures all beverages are prepared consistently, accurately, and presented beautifully.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas.
• Operates espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Restocks coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, and other supplies.
• Greets clients warmly and provides exceptional, personalized service.
• Assists guests with menu selections and product knowledge, including coffee origins and beverage recommendations.
• Processes orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Monitors product quality and freshness throughout service.
• Assists team members in maintaining smooth café operations during busy periods.
• Follows food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Supports opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2–3 years previous experience in a similar café or barista role

Skills

• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-based beverages
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
