About the Role
Ignite Medical Resorts is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development/Hospital Liaison for its Round Rock location. This role is crucial for driving bottom-line results and company growth by establishing and cultivating relationships with area hospitals, referring physicians, case managers, and the community to promote Ignite's vision.
Responsibilities
- Drive census growth and development through day-to-day management of hospital, physician, and healthcare accounts.
- Manage referral and admission processes, including referral review, onsite assessment, and conversion.
- Facilitate patient transitions from hospital to post-hospital settings, providing clinical and financial insight to families.
- Establish partnerships with local healthcare and community providers through key account management.
- Collaborate with partners to identify growth opportunities and program needs.
- Increase brand awareness through marketing efforts in hospitals, physician offices, and communities.
- Identify supporting physicians for key clinical programs and specialty services.
- Plan and facilitate community outreach and events to showcase Ignite’s programs and services.
Requirements
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for unusual assignments.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Willingness to exceed expectations with a high level of customer service.
- Experience in developing business at Round Rock and Austin hospitals is preferred.
