About the Role
Ice Miller is seeking summer associates to join our New York office in the private equity, M&A and leveraged finance practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop direct working relationships with attorneys to enhance research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Work on active transactions.
- Receive guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback.
- Participate in in-depth training focused on professional and substantive legal skills.
- Gain opportunities for client contact.
- Attend social events and team building activities.
Requirements
- Have permanent authorization to work in the United States.
- Have obtained an undergraduate degree.
- Be enrolled in the JD class of 2028 at an accredited law school.
- Have an undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, or economics (for New York transactional practice).
- Submit resume, cover letter, undergraduate transcript, and unofficial law school transcript in PDF format.
