About the Role
We are hiring a Field Marketing Manager to turn buyer density in New York City into pipeline through tradeshows, community programs, hackathons, executive dinners, and memorable hospitality experiences. This is an owner's role where you will decide which shows to attend, which communities to invest in, and where marketing dollars are allocated. You will collaborate closely with Sales and be measured on the pipeline your programs generate and accelerate.
Responsibilities
- Own the NYC event portfolio, including strategy, budget, execution, and reporting.
- Manage tradeshows: select and tier shows, design booth experiences, and oversee pre-show outreach and post-show follow-up.
- Build a sustained presence with NYC practitioner communities and peer networks.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to run hackathons that build technical credibility.
- Curate executive dinners with senior buyers, working account by account with Sales.
- Design sports, culture, and dining hospitality experiences tied to named deals.
- Build and negotiate budgets across vendors, venues, sponsorships, software, and agencies, defending ROI.
- Report on program effectiveness and present plans and results to the GTM team.
- Develop playbooks, templates, and SLAs to ensure program repeatability and scalability.
Requirements
- 4–7 years in field marketing, events, or experiential marketing, including B2B with a sales-led motion.
- Proven track record of independently running events end to end with minimal oversight.
- Experience with a range of event types, from large shows to small dinners.
- Strong Sales partnership skills, including building invite lists, managing requests, and ensuring follow-up.
- Data fluency to build plans from account and performance data and discuss cost per meeting.
- Strong negotiation instincts with vendors, venues, and agencies.
- Excellent presence in front of a room, including senior internal audiences.
- Based in NYC.
- Willingness to work evenings and travel to EMEA.
