About the Role

This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position offers a flexible and dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity and assist with access control processes.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in a timely, accurate manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
