About the Role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Analyst, Pricing & Contracting to support the Vascular Business Unit from a pricing and contracting perspective. This role involves responding to pricing requests, managing contracts, performing financial analysis, and ensuring accurate contract execution.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to pricing requests from customers (RFPs).
  • Add new products to current contracts.
  • Add and remove accounts from contracts.
  • Add or adjust rebates that are part of a contract.
  • Handle ad hoc pricing requests.
  • Perform timely review and detailed financial analysis of sales requests for pricing adjustments.
  • Administer sales requests for pricing adjustments related to new and current contracts.
  • Conduct complex analysis of historical sales, competitive pricing pressures, market dynamics, potential price exposure, and contractual status.
  • Own end-to-end contract development, including drafting, cross-functional review, approvals, and customer delivery.
  • Perform deal modeling and pricing analysis using historical data, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Lead the RFP process, including drafting, evaluation, and submission coordination.
  • Ensure accurate contract execution, including system setup, pricing loads, approval tracking, and data integrity.
  • Manage complex agreement structures (e.g., rebates, compliance commitments, GPO/IDN implementations).
  • Articulate key conclusions from analysis and make recommendations.
  • Counsel the sales team to ensure pricing requests align with pricing strategy.
  • Package and present pricing requests to senior management for approval.
  • Gather and file all pricing approvals.
  • Create contract documentation for approved pricing, discounting, and deal structure in accordance with OEC and corporate policies.
  • Create ad hoc sales reports and/or analysis as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of combined experience in business, accounting, or finance.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to articulate key conclusions and make recommendations.

  • $78,000.00 – $156,000.00
