About the Role
Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located near the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD. This full-time, year-round position offers a fun work environment and the chance to build a career in the casino industry while ensuring guests have a great time.
Responsibilities
- Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment.
- Performs public service cleaning duties in all assigned areas.
- Sweeps, mops, and disposes of trash.
- Sets up and removes special event signage and area closure stations.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning large public areas facility preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal, and/or demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs without difficulty, repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
