About the Role

Meta is seeking a Technical Logistics Specialist to assist in the design and deployment of scalable and efficient tools that support logistics, spares planning, asset management, warehouse fulfillment, and storage & distribution operations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement tools and processes for Meta Data Center operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain tools and software solutions for internal automation.
• Collaborate with software engineers to understand data structures, data sources, and systematic processes.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to promote best practices and ensure process and tooling consistency.
• Partner with business stakeholders and software engineers to design, deploy, and maintain asset management, inventory management, and logistical systems for Meta's Data Centers.
• Lead sessions to identify process inefficiencies, gather business requirements, manage deliverables with development teams, conduct testing and validation, provide training, and triage issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable tools for logistics and inventory management.
• Experience with technical debugging.
• Must obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.
• Experience explaining technical issues to both technical and business partners.
• Proficiency with SQL and understanding of database systems.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as PHP, C++, Javascript, Python.
