About the Role
Meta is seeking a Technical Logistics Specialist to assist in the design and deployment of scalable and efficient tools that support logistics, spares planning, asset management, warehouse fulfillment, and storage & distribution operations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement tools and processes for Meta Data Center operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain tools and software solutions for internal automation.
- Collaborate with software engineers to understand data structures, data sources, and systematic processes.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to promote best practices and ensure process and tooling consistency.
- Partner with business stakeholders and software engineers to design, deploy, and maintain asset management, inventory management, and logistical systems for Meta's Data Centers.
- Lead sessions to identify process inefficiencies, gather business requirements, manage deliverables with development teams, conduct testing and validation, provide training, and triage issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience building scalable tools for logistics and inventory management.
- Experience with technical debugging.
- Must obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.
- Experience explaining technical issues to both technical and business partners.
- Proficiency with SQL and understanding of database systems.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as PHP, C++, Javascript, Python.
