About the Role

The Superintendent will professionally execute heavy lifting and heavy transportation work in the field and at the yard, ensuring safe, profitable, and customer-delighting performance by leading their team. This role is responsible for the safety and training of the crew.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit company Core Values in assigned work.
• Support sales efforts through job walks, estimating, and business development.
• Collaborate with engineering support for work planning and optimization.
• Participate in handoff meetings to receive direction and communicate expectations.
• Coordinate with internal resources for equipment needs, inspections, and trucking.
• Execute scheduled work using company safety programs to manage risks.
• Delegate tasks to field crews with clear expectations for man-hours and safety.
• Ensure crew members are qualified for assigned tasks.
• Focus on improving schedule, safety performance, and equipment maintenance.
• Foster idea generation and communicate significant ideas to management.
• Develop fairness in assigning work and coaching crew members.
• Train crew members to add qualifications to their resumes.
• Treat all customers with dignity and respect.
• Lead the team by exhibiting high morale towards the company and work.
• Participate in crew member evaluations.
