About the Role

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to organize a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Duties include ensuring all projects are delivered on time, according to requirements, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures, able to coordinate a team of professionals, and possess an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and architects to determine project specifications.
• Define needed resources (manpower, equipment, materials) from start to finish, paying attention to budget limitations.
• Set terms with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Develop plans for all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare equipment and materials, and monitor stocks to handle inadequacies timely.
• Lead, supervise, and support contractors, allocating responsibilities.
• Monitor the work of laborers, mechanics, and other staff, providing guidance as needed.
• Analyze progress and submit detailed reports.
• Enforce compliance with all health and safety standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
• Significant experience with construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of quality and health and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good practical experience with MS Office and construction or project management software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good team player and leadership skills.
• BSc or BA in construction management, building science, or other relevant area.
• Crane and rigging experience preferred.
