About the Role
Join Apple Services Engineering (ASE) to build world-class, scalable systems powering services like App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, and Apple Arcade. You will partner with Apple TV and Video teams to enhance the experience for millions of customers and developers, focusing on petabyte-scale data processing and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data solutions to support business needs.
- Develop large-scale data pipelines and backend services using microservices and big data technologies.
- Iterate quickly on all stages of data pipelines.
- Design and build the data platform to empower data analytics.
- Deliver solutions with significant impact on Apple TV and Sports products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience in Java or Scala.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed data processing technologies.
- Experience developing AI agents.
- Experience in working with big data and distributed systems.
- Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience working with LLMs.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles and fundamentals including algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to capture cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks.
