About the Role
We are a consumer protection law firm providing representation to consumers who have been harassed or deceived by creditors and debt collectors. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
- Conduct research on simple and complex legal matters.
- Perform administrative responsibilities including client intake, organizing, and record keeping.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and legal research.
- Exceptional legal writing skills.
- Superior organizational and time-management skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to learn firm's case management software.
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties.
- Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Paralegal Certification is a plus.
