About the Role
This position supports Corning’s Advanced Optics engineering organization, focusing on high-precision optical components and solutions for demanding applications. The technician will help build and qualify metrology equipment, measure critical optical parameters, interpret drawings and tolerances, document test methods for manufacturing transfer, and support training on test and measurement tasks.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years in utilizing instrumentation for testing precision optical components
- Hands-on metrology laboratory experience required
- Industrial experience in optical metrology required
- Familiarity with optical shop phase measuring interferometers
- Proficiency in Excel
